While that game was in development there were a few opportunities to do some other small projects for the iPhone. So this website was created as a bit of a home for them. Mr. Sudoku started off as an experiment in character recognition. Fairly early on I actually implemented an algorithm for reading numbers drawn out on the iPhone. Mr. Sudoku was a reason to use it! Ambrosia saw it and they wanted to publish it. Fun Stuff. Commander Rob's Tricorder was done in 3 days (including programmer art!) so that I could live out some strange nerd fantasies. I figured other (very sane) people also would like to enjoy it, so it was released on the App store to mixed reviews. It's almost like Star Trek is a very religious thing that SHOULD NOT BE MESSED WITH UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Lesson learned. iJiggles was another experiment turned fun. We'll see how that one goes. Later, Tod. |
